Manufacturing Process of RCC Base Plate
At Gandhar Group, RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) Plates are manufactured using advanced techniques and stringent quality controls to ensure superior performance and durability. The comprehensive production process includes the following key stages
Moulds are thoroughly cleaned and coated with shuttering oil to ensure easy removal of the base plate after casting.
Steel reinforcement bars are cut, bent, and placed inside the mould as per design. Proper cover blocks are used to maintain spacing and alignment.
Concrete is prepared using cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, and water in the required proportion, ensuring uniform and high-quality mix.
The freshly mixed concrete is poured into the prepared mould containing reinforcement.
The concrete is compacted using needle vibrators to eliminate air voids and achieve dense and uniform structure.
The top surface is levelled and finished using trowels to obtain a smooth and even finish.
The cast base plate is allowed to set within the mould under controlled conditions for initial strength gain.
After initial setting (typically 24-48 hours), the base plate is carefully removed from the mould.
The de-moulded base plate is cured using water (ponding/sprinkling) for 7-14 days to achieve required strength and durability as per IS standards.
Finished base plates are inspected for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects like cracks or honeycombing.
After curing and inspection, base plates are properly stacked in the yard with adequate support to prevent damage.
The RCC base plates are transported safely to the site and stacked systematically for use.
Throughout every stage, Gandhar Group remains dedicated to quality assurance and process efficiency, delivering reliable RCC pole solutions for diverse infrastructure requirements.
