The Gandhar Group Story

From a Humble Beginning to Industry Leader

1972 - 2000
The Early Years

Gandhar Group’s journey began in 1972 with a clear vision to contribute to India’s growing power infrastructure needs. Starting with a single manufacturing unit focused on producing high-quality Pre-Stressed Cement Concrete (PSC) poles, the company’s early years were defined by a relentless commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and serving local communities. These foundational values set the stage for future success.

Early 2000s
Pioneering Growth in Rajasthan

As the demand for electrification surged across India, Gandhar Group undertook a strategic expansion by launching three new plants in Rajasthan in 2009. This significantly supported the state's growing needs for electrical infrastructure, including electrification projects near the Indian border, thereby strengthening border energy security.

2011
Geographic Expansion

In 2011, Gandhar Group expanded its footprint beyond Rajasthan by establishing its first manufacturing facility in Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh, marking a strategic move towards geographic diversification and broader market reach.

2012-2013
Revolutionary Transformation

Marking a significant milestone in Tamil Nadu, Gandhar Group launched two manufacturing plants in the region, establishing new industry benchmarks from day one. Since then, we have supplied the majority of Tamil Nadu’s concrete pole requirements, serving as a vital partner in the state's power and infrastructure development. We are proud to be TNEB’s most trusted partner, providing prompt and reliable delivery of essential infrastructure during natural calamities and disasters.

2014-2017
Unstoppable Growth

Between 2014 and 2017, Gandhar Group expanded its footprint in eastern India by establishing three plants in Bihar, becoming the largest supplier in the state and actively supporting Bihar’s electrification and rural development initiatives. In 2016, we launched a facility in Odisha, which not only met the region’s electrification needs but also played a crucial role in disaster relief efforts by supplying poles across the entire state from a single plant. This strategic expansion has solidified Gandhar Group as a leading supplier of PSC poles in eastern India, reaffirming our dedication to advancing infrastructure and strengthening energy security in the region.

2018 - 2025
Gandhar Group’s Power Surge

From 2018 to 2021, Gandhar Group unveiled the world’s largest PSC and RCC pole manufacturing plant, revolutionizing electrical infrastructure support for Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Our momentum continued into 2024, with increased capacity in Tamil Nadu to bolster the state's electrification and coastal infrastructure projects—marking a major milestone in our commitment to India’s energy future.

Building on this success, early 2025 saw us expand into Bihar, further strengthening our role as a leading partner in India’s, Asia’s, and the World's electrification journey. This strategic growth cements Gandhar Group’s position as the top provider of power infrastructure, paving the way for sustained success across the region and beyond.

2025 - Present
Gandhar Group: Expanding Horizons

Since 2025, Gandhar Group has significantly expanded its footprint by taking over a new manufacturing plant in Kerala. This strategic move has strengthened the Group’s presence in the southern region, enabling it to support the state’s growing infrastructure requirements while reinforcing its commitment to India’s electrical infrastructure development.

In early 2026, Gandhar Group further diversified its operations by entering the precast industry in Odisha, aligning with its broader vision of contributing to the nation’s infrastructure growth.

Continuing this expansion momentum, in 2026, the Group established an additional precast manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, further enhancing its production capabilities and regional reach.

Fueling the Future with Unstoppable Force

As India accelerates toward universal electrification and next-generation infrastructure, Gandhar Group is scaling new heights with 17 manufacturing plants nationwide. In 2026, the Group made a bold strategic leap into the precast concrete industry, establishing advanced facilities in Odisha and Tamil Nadu to redefine speed, quality, and efficiency in construction.

Precast is not just an expansion—it is a transformation. By enabling rapid execution, superior consistency, and cost optimization, Gandhar Group is positioning itself at the forefront of infrastructure innovation across power, railways, and urban development.

Driven by decades of expertise, a future-ready workforce, and an unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainability, Gandhar Group is not just supporting India’s infrastructure growth—it is shaping it. With a clear vision and expanding capabilities, the Group is set to emerge as a dominant force in both domestic and global infrastructure landscapes
